Enerthenema melanospermum
Enerthenema melanospermum is a nivicolous (snowbank) slime mold species found on rotting conifer wood in alpine forests. It is similar in appearance to E. papillatum, which is more common at lower elevations. Both species have a signature funnel-shaped disk at the apex of the sporangium.
