Woollybear Gall Wasp (Atrusca trimaculosa)

The woollybear gall wasp (Atrusca trimaculosa) induces spherical galls with long, straight hairs on the leaves of various white oaks. These galls are often clustered together and may superficially resemble crystalline galls.
