Frosty Bonnet (Mycena tenerrima)

The frosty bonnet (Mycena tenerrima, formerly Mycena adscendens) is a small, white mushroom best known for its textured cap, hairy stipe, and disc at the base. It is quite common, but not often observed due to its diminutive size. Though mature fruiting bodies may reach heights of up to 20mm, developing mushrooms may only be a few millimeters, or about the size of a grain of rice.
