Sparse-Flowered Bog Orchid (Platanthera sparsiflora)
The sparse-flowered bog orchid (Platanthera sparsiflora) grows in moist habitats around California and other parts of western North America. The small flowers of this perennial herb have a similar structure to those of the Sierra bog orchid (P. dilatata), but are almost entirely green and more broadly spaced.
