Bog wintergreen (Pyrola asarifolia ssp. asarifolia)

Bog wintergreen (Pyrola asarifolia ssp. asarifolia) is a California-native wildflower also known as liverleaf wintergreen or pink wintergreen. As the first common name suggests, this species prefers moist habitats and its leaves remain green year-round.
