Woodland Skipper (Ochlodes sylvanoides)
The woodland skipper (Ochlodes sylvanoides) is a very common butterfly found throughout western North America. Inland and coastal specimens vary considerably, with the latter possessing much more ornate markings on the undersides of their hindwings.
