Variegated meadowhawk (Sympetrum corruptum)
The variegated meadowhawk (Sympetrum corruptum) is a medium-sized dragonfly, the sides of whose thorax each have two white stripes sloping downward from the wings toward the legs. The stripes end in bright yellow spots, which result in a comet-like appearance.
