Snow false morel (Gyromitra gigas)
Snow false morel (Gyromitra gigas) is also known as snow morel, bull nose, calf brain, or just plain snow mushroom. Spore morphology analysis reveals that this is in fact the same species as G. korfii and G. montana, and it was originally scientifically described as Helvella gigas.
