Golden Icicle Fungus (Mucronella flava)

Golden icicle fungus (Mucronella flava, common name by photographer) is a species whose bright yellow-orange fruiting bodies form clusters of drooping spines resembling icicles. These tiny spines are commonly found on the sawn ends of damp logs.
