Round-Leaved Sundew (Drosera rotundifolia)
Round-leaved sundew (Drosera rotundifolia) is a carnivorous plant often found in fens (bogs) where the soil is nutrient poor. A close look at the leaves of this fascinating perennial herb reveals red glandular hairs which secrete a sticky exudate capable of trapping unsuspecting prey to supplement its diet.
