California Tiger Lily (Lilium pardalinum)
California tiger lily (Lilium pardalinum) is a vibrantly colored California-native wildflower that is mostly endemic to the Golden State (specimens have been found slightly into southern Oregon). The additional feline references of leopard lily and panther lily are attributable to this plant's bold spots. Its beautiful flower petals are significantly larger and more recurved than those of Sierra tiger lily (L. parvum).
