Alpine shooting star (Primula tetrandra)

Alpine shooting star (Primula tetrandra, formerly Dodecatheon alpinum) is a showy high elevation wildflower in the primrose family. This partially aquatic perennial herb makes a beautiful addition to cold seeps and stream banks.
