Double Honeysuckle (Lonicera conjugialis)

Double honeysuckle (Lonicera conjugialis), also known as double-flowered honeysuckle or prupleflower honeysuckle, is a shrub which is native to moist, montane habitats of western North America. As the common names imply, its wildflowers are purple to dark maroon and generally grow in pairs. Each flower has five anthers: three in the upper lip, and two below which are more strongly exserted (projected beyond the petals). A green stigma extends between the upper and lower anthers.
